Proclamation by Rahkihs – reader’s submission

I don’t mean to scare you but there are nights that I cry
There are prisons built inside of me, where my emotions hide
My arms can build a castle but you’ll have to choose to stay
Whatever the destination, you’ll have to walk the way
There would come days when we’ll long for you and me
And there would be moments when things wouldn’t be what they seem
So just take heart and believe in all of our stars
And all that pain you experience will give you golden scars
You will shout and cry and, in agony, scream
And our lives would then, begin mending at the seams
All of our scars would then, once and for all, form
And love will put to rest all of our internal storms
I don’t mean to scare you but there are nights that I cry
Though it may seem impossible, I’d still like you to try
We are going to live like royalties, do away with all the rust
Forget humans and earth, you and me are minuscule of stardust.
